The standard size is 265/70r17. I know that there has been quite a few questions on what tires will fit on a truck. Bigger tires weigh more and they're harder to rotate on the vehicle even though they gain greater my research has shown that if you don't add bigger wheels and tires the gas mileage will stay about in the average truck that does not haul large loads the tires should be replaced every 40 thousand miles. I think they looked a bit better and i could care less but they probably hurt my mpg's a bit.
